Pitru Paksha
During Pitru Paksha, a sacred time of remembrance and honoring ancestors, we extend our outreach to those in need by distributing food and fruits to patients and their families outside AIMS/Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi.
Pitru Paksha holds significant cultural and spiritual importance, as it is a period dedicated to paying homage to ancestors. In keeping with tradition, we believe in embodying the values of compassion and service by reaching out to those facing challenging circumstances. At AIMS/Safdarjung Hospital, we offer nourishment and sustenance to patients and their families during this solemn period. By providing food and fruits, we aim to alleviate some of the burdens they may be facing and offer a moment of respite during their time at the hospital.
Beyond providing physical nourishment, our initiative fosters a sense of community and connection. It serves as a reminder that during times of remembrance and reflection, we are all part of a larger human family, bound together by our shared experiences and struggles.
